journalman's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roommate Out My LAST Roommate Slept With all my Dudes. Not Cool. This is why I need a roommate. She is moving out. My soon-to-be-ex roommate and I became friends, and soon afterwards, she managed to jump into bed with FOUR of my guy friends. The first time it was kind of funny, the second time it was a coincidence, the third time was a near-disaster, and number four now... well it's why she is moving out. She doesn't tread very lightly, she did dishes & cleaned up just fine. Just just broke the hearts of at least 2 of my close guy friends. (Not a good roommate). SO. Her room in our LOVELY, newly renovated apartment complete with BIG BACKYARD is available. We are 2 blocks off the Smith and 9th Street subway stop The room is fairly small, but very private and across the apartment from mine. Currently, she has her queen-sized bed and 3 smallish pieces of furniture in there, including her armoire (which one would need to have in this room). PLUSSES: Location, location, location. Backyard with large bbq. Cool roommate (me). NO Broker fee. Rent directly to landlord (who will also do a credit/income check on you, so pls only serious inquiries) MINUSES: Not the HUGEST room, but perfect for somebody who doesn't have a ton of stuff. It's a nice apartment, I'd love a new roommate, and certainly one who respects roommate boundaries a bit better than the last one!
